These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Keyboardo at keyboardo.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use Keyboardo.

Acceptable use and fair play

You agree to use Keyboardo only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, probe or bypass its security, scrape it at scale, or interfere with anyone else's use of it. Because Keyboardo is a competitive typing test, fair play matters: you must not use automation, scripts, macros, bots or any tool that types or submits results on your behalf, and you must not fabricate, manipulate or tamper with test results. Submissions that appear automated or falsified may be silently excluded from leaderboards, statistics and achievements.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Choose a strong password, do not share your credentials, and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You must be old enough under the law of your country to enter into a binding agreement in order to create an account.

Content and intellectual property

The words, quotes and prompts presented for typing are drawn from public-domain sources or generated by the Service, and the Keyboardo name, design, code and interface remain the property of Keyboardo and its licensors. These Terms grant you no ownership of the Service. The typing statistics produced from your own tests are yours, and you may view them on your profile or delete them by deleting your account.

Disclaimer of warranties

Keyboardo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free or secure, or that measurements such as words per minute and accuracy are suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keyboardo and the people who operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum the law allows.

Termination

You may stop using Keyboardo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Service, or remove results, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken or that doing so is necessary to protect the Service or its users. You can delete your account yourself from your settings, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of Keyboardo after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Keyboardo's operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights granted to you by the law of your place of residence that cannot lawfully be waived.
